Job Description
|
Security Administrator. The primary role of this person is to provide 1st line support for middleware and application deployments and 2nd line support for middleware and application problems. The position requires that the individual provide after hours and weekend on-call support on a rotating basis. The deliverables include the management of Netegrity products and business applications in a highly available, load balanced environment.
The deployments will occur in multiple environments including Production, UAT and Development. This person will be expected to also contribute to the ongoing improvement in application and platform availability, the training of 1st line support staff and reduction of problem calls by implementing automated processes.
Requirements:
* 4+ years of experience with Netegrity single sign on
* Ability to design, develop and deploy scripts to provide infrastructure services
* Working knowledge and experience with Web-based applications and services
* Hands on, recent experience in supporting Production Infrastructure and/or application services
* General knowledge of data base principles and applications with a focus on Oracle
* General knowledge of TCP/IP and DNS/CSS network principles and applications
* Ability and willingness to learn and support new technologies and products across a broad range of technologies
* Working knowledge and experience with security issues, solutions and products for both authentication and integrity for web applications.
* A full understanding of network design, troubleshooting, implementation, project management and proposals is required.
* Ability and willingness to develop documentation and processes for 1st line support groups and peers within the group
* Ability to and attitude to work with business representatives, development groups, support groups and operational staff in a project team environment
* A true team player who will actively share and receive technical knowledge with peers and support groups
Desired Skills:
* CISSP Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification
* Direct hands on experience with TIBCO middleware configuration and deployment
