SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE TECHNOLOGISTâÃÂà(NETEGRITY ENGINEER/WEB SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR) (Code 04-00417): Supports Sempra EnergyâÃÂÃÂs enterprise Identity Management and Web Access Control environment, which is based on the Netegrity suite of access control products: SiteMinder, IdentityMinder, and TransactionMinder. Responsible for the engineering and administrative support for this environment as well as secondary responsibility for some related systems such as BEA WebLogic application and portal servers, Sun Java System (iPlanet/SunONE) web servers, Sun LDAP servers, Microsoft Active Directory and a variety of management components for Web services. Complete lifecycle experience is desired, including complete knowledge of the UNIX server platform (Sun Solaris and IBM AIX) on which most components run. Performs traditional engineering tasks, such as analysis, design, version control, change control, capacity planning and tools analysis as well as application deployment. Effectively documents work using standard formats. Performs assorted computer and network related tasks, such as installing, configuring, and maintaining software infrastructure such as web servers, compilers, etc. as required. Troubleshoots SSO and login Issues, application server agent Issues, Web services infrastructure Issues. Provides production support. Assists application developers in developing applications that can utilize the Identity Management and Web Access Control systems. Establishes and maintains SiteMinder agent configurations including realms, rules, responses and policies, user entitlements or access rights, and custom administrative roles and tasks. Maintains identity environments using IdentityMinder Management Console. Maintains and develops custom handlers and events as required by applications.
Requirements: A bachelor or masterâÃÂÃÂs degree in Information Technology Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related disciplines. Must have seven years direct experience in roles of increasing responsibility. Experience in systems integration and development, security standards and protocols is highly desirable. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, in both technical and business contexts. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks with varying priorities. Must have the ability to work independently as well as with a team. Requires strong unit and integration testing skills. Requires 2-5 years J2EE experience including Servlets, JSPs, JNDI and EJB. Must have experience in Windows and Unix development environments. Requires expert knowledge of Netegrity Identity Management systems including SiteMinder, IdentityMinder and TransactionMinder. Must have solid administrative knowledge of the Netegrity suite, including isolating and correcting faults. Must have thorough knowledge of Web services Security, LDAP architecture and best practices, Active Directory and best practices.
