Leading Engineering Security Architect
Task description: Determination of method to supply discretionary access control and auditing for new IDW development. The access control approach may involve schema-level modifications and comparison with user flags in LDAP or Active Directory for fine-grained user authorization data.
Design and implementation of a public key infrastructure capable of delivering certificates to a large customer base. Experience in writing of certificate policies, certificate practice statements, security policies, and Entrust/Authority Certification Authority.
Installation and integration of Oracle security features, Oracle SSO, Oracle fine grained access controls (Virtual DB), and performance indicators/tradeoffs with security; Definition of database secure configuration guidance/policy, fail-over security settings; Development and implementation of database auditing procedures.

Staff Capabilities:
Required skills/experience: Minimum of 5 years IA and database experience using standard database systems (minimum Oracle); experience implementing DB security guidelines (e.g., NSA, DISA, DOD, DOJ, etc.). Capable of writing technical DB Secure Installation and configuration documents as well as management level DB security status briefings. Able to review, analyze, and secure all DB access for security (e.g., ODBC, SQL, WEB application, application servers, etc.). Can develop DB security test cases; execute database vulnerability assessments, and implement data security/integrity checks and balances into the DB security architecture.
