Job Title: Sr Software QA Engineer
Location : South San Francisco, CA
Duration : 8 months
Rate : (Open$/hr on W2 all inclusive)
DUTIES:
Act as a hands-on Sr. SQA Engineer on the project by writing Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Summary Reports, Test Data, etc. Execute Regression, Functionality, Integration and other tests to assist the project team identify and resolve defects in the product. Provide SQA Testing status and recommendations to the project team on Go/No-Go decisions. Testing and implementation of complex IT Security solutions, Identity Management solutions, Web Access Control solutions (Computer Associates (CA) SiteMinder) etc
SKILLS:
Understanding of SQA & SDLC methodologies and processes, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test cases development, defect tracking tools, IT Security related testing skills such as LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, Kerberos, Sun Identity Manager, Web Access Control/Single Sign-on.
Experience with testing on Internet Explorer and Safari on Windows 2000/XP, Mac OS 10.x on a variety of hardware platforms (HP/Compaq and Mac).
Current hands-on testing of client and web-based applications/implementations using security-related tools such as Sun Identity Manager, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory (AD), Kerberos, Web Access Control, Single Sign-on, Oracle database, SQL, Solaris & Linux OS.
Good documentation, communication and customer service skills are required. This candidate should be independent and has a good attention to detail skill.
Plusses: Virsa Compliance Calibrator XT (CCXT), SAP, Quality Center/Test Director & ClearQuest experience a plus.
Education:
Requires a total of at least 6 years of hands-on experience in testing web, IT Security applications and database applications. At least 3 years of that should be in the field of IT security, identity management, single sign on etc.
